The bureau of meteorology has warned temperatures will drop below zero in parts of the Central North, Midlands, East Coast and North-West Coast.
A warning is also in place for Wednesday, with sheep graziers urged to be aware of cold temperatures, showers and strong south-westerly winds.
Areas likely to be affected on Wednesday include King Island and parts of the Midlands, East Coast and North-West Coast.
