The two offenders entered Prospect Fish Shop on Westbury Road about midnight Sunday.
Captured on CCTV footage, the offenders were dressed in all white clothing and had their faces covered by white masks.
The footage shows the offenders raiding the store as cars drove past on the road outside.
The brazen thieves did not manage to steal any money, but left the shop with a tray of fish.
The front doors were damaged during the break-in leaving the shop’s owner, Jason Kerrison, with a bill of about $2000.
Having owned the fish shop for about 18 years, Mr Kerrison said it was about the sixth time it had happened but the first time he had to replace the doors.
“Unfortunately it’s a part of being a small business owner, we hate it, but it’s part of it,” he said.
“The response from the public has been overwhelming though, with the amount of people who have commented or come forward with information.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 131 444.
