In netball being played in Canberra, Tassie’s 19 and unders lost to Queensland 36-18 and Victoria 48-19 on Saturday before falling to ACT 37-32, in a close game in semi finals on Sunday.
The Tassie 17 and unders had a 36-21 defeat to ACT and a 43-17 loss to Victoria before going down to ACT on Sunday in semis 45-17.
Final placings in the respective championships will be decided in play-offs on Monday.
In the Australian under-18 hockey championships being played in Hobart, Tasmania’s under-18 boys team had a 5-0 defeat to Western Australia on Sunday to slip to third on the ladder with two wins, a loss and a draw from four games.
The Tasmania under-18 girls’ team scored their first win of the championships defeating the Queensland 2 side, 2-0.
They sit sixth on the ladder with a 1-3 win-loss record.
