Dr Jonathon Welch AM, the founding artistic director of the award-winning Choir of Hard Knocks, is in Launceston to conduct the Launceston premiere of Street Requiem, a contemporary choral work focused on bringing peace, remembrance and hope to communities facing street violence.

The concert will feature a range of artists, including THECHO!R from Melbourne, Vox Harmony City of Launceston Choir, and the City Mission Choir of High Hopes.

The Launceston premiere will feature local soloists alongside internationally acclaimed contralto Liane Keegan.

The event will be held at Door of Hope on Saturday, doors open at 7pm. Tickets at the door, with all proceeds going to City Mission.
