A man charged with failing to tell police about the alleged murder of Bradley Breward has not yet entered a plea.
Cody James Lee appeared briefly via video link in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Friday.
He is charged with one count of failing to report a killing.
Mr Lee told Magistrate Peter Dixon he needed to speak to his lawyer before entering a plea to the charge.
Mr Dixon adjourned the matter to May 11.
Mr Breward, of Mowbray, was found dead after disappearing on New Year’s Eve.
His body was located on February 3.
