East Launceston Croquet Club back markers Ruth McKean and Lee Turner won the golf croquet handicap doubles event with seven wins, while Nuran Melksham and Kevin Melksham, of Brisbane, took out a play off to claim second with four wins.
The open association round robin singles contest was an exciting one with the final two matches deciding the champion.
South Australian Malcolm Kinch stole victory with four wins and 54 net points from Shirley Howlett, also of South Australia, with four wins and 22 net points.
The plate was won by Eunice Frater, of New South Wales.
“Overall a very successful annual tournament with very close enjoyable games in all events,” Turner, of Croquet Tasmania, said.
