Smoke is visible from Beaumaris and Dianas Basin, but the TFS said there is no threat to communities.
Motorists traveling in the area are advised to drive with caution. Headlights should be turned on when driving through smoke.
The burns are part of a Statewide Fuel Reduction Program which is aimed at reducing the bushfire risk to help protect lives and communities.
TFS said people with medical conditions should have a personal plan in place to avoid smoke.
