AFL Tasmania southern talent manager Mathew Armstrong said he was sorry to announced the news.
"We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause, however, I am sure people are aware that the Brisbane area is experiencing an extreme weather event and the postponement was unavoidable due to the conditions,” he said.
"In lieu of the game being postponed, all players are available to train and play with their Tasmanian State League clubs this weekend."
The Lance Spaulding-coached talent won their opening national division 2 under-18 championships match against Northern Territory last weekend.
They prevailed 13.10 (88) to 5.9 (39) at Blacktown International Sportspark after a disastrous campaign last season.
