To fit in all the action, racing will start at 4pm with classes including sprintcars, super sedans, late models, modifieds, street stocks, junior sedans, AMCAs and Formula 500s.
All competitors want to go out with that winning feeling as we head toward winter with only next weekend’s event at Latrobe Speedway before the season is over.
Sprintcar racing is always exciting and the last three weeks have been incredible with Jason Redpath taking two victories before Mark House turned the tables last weekend. Gerry Hoekstra has a new motor and is also on the pace.
Super sedans will see Callum Harper having a high speed hit out before he ventures to Western Australia to defend his Australian championship over the Easter break. He will be challenged by Adam Beechey, Steve Latham and Kevin Purton.
The late models are the newest category in Tasmania and have a steadily growing car count.
The competition will be tough as Harper, who also holds the Australian number one in category, will be doing double duty.
These big American cars are spectacular to watch and will see competitors like Kallan Muir, Shaun Kelly and Jason Cox taking the fight right up to Harper.
Street stock racing has 20 cars entered. Battling for the win will be Corey Bauld, Matt Hammond, Brayden Silva and many other competitors.
Modifieds are fast and ultra close. Brendan Mitchell is eager to pick up where he left off at the last meeting here but will be challenged by Marco Taurian, Paul Quillerat and Craig Williams.
Jock Goodyer has had a stunning debut in Formula 500s after stepping up from the junior kart ranks.
He won his first feature last Saturday but will be challenged by Dylan Beveridge, Rick Weatherall and Dylan Rouse.
AMCAs’ Adrian Bassett took a great win last weekend but will find the going tough against his father Rodney and Shane Ashlin
Junior category has been dominated by Jakobe Jetson who will be challenged hard by Ellis Dickenson.
Both Dickenson and Danielle Allison are having their last race as both will be too old to compete next year.
Jesse White and Cody Gay have also been on the pace and are eager to challenge for the win.
The last meeting of the speedway season will be next Saturday night at Latrobe Speedway.
