In the foursomes event, with 50 pairs entered, Division One winners were Kay Dixon of Port Sorell and Karen Hall of Thirlstane.
Division Two was won by Freycinet’s Lynne Crockett and Pat Gabey, and in Division Three, Lindy Lockhart of Bridport teamed with Tania Thompson of Moorina to win.
The singles event overall winner was Jenny Hatton of Exeter with 42 points and Maryanne Ennis of Scamander River runner up with 37 from a field of 74 players.
Jenny Hatton, Helen Streets and Sue Clark of Exeter took the teams event with St Helens second and Scamander River third.
The Division One, Two, Three and Four singles winners were Alison Brazendale of Wynyard, Kareena Gale of St Helens, Susan Hayes of Longford and Trish Nichols of Scottsdale.
In Men’s Northern pennant, Mowbray remains undefeated following its 6/1 win at Riverside while Launceston won 4/3 at Prospect Vale.
In Division Two, Prospect Vale won 6/1 over Launceston, and George Town had a 5/3 result over Greens Beach.
In Division Three, Deloraine won 5/2 against Prospect Vale and Launceston won 6/1 against Mowbray.
In the opening round of Men’s East Coast Pennant, Bicheno scored a 4/3 win over Scamander with Ricky Barr, John Hortle, Chris Triebe and Justin Green winning hard-fought matches.
Scamander winners were Steve Austin, Scott Bennett and J Berry.
Freycinet won their opening round of Women’s East Coast Pennant 4/1 against Bicheno with Lynne Crockett, Sally Stepen, Pat Hardcastle and Rosemary Mullen winning while Julie Lyne won for Bicheno.
The North West Division One Pennant was a round of upsets, but all four teams have now recorded a win apiece.
Ulverstone won 5/2 at home against Devonport, and the highly-fancied Wynyard lost at home to Burnie 4/3 with both Jeremy Hubbard and Greg Radford losing sudden death play-offs.
Penguin and Smithton had big wins in Division Two and in Division Three, Ulverstone won seven-nil against Seabrook and Wynyard 5/2 over Devonport.
Tasmania’s representatives in the South Australian Classic at Royal Adelaide missed the cut.
