Former Ringarooma and Branxholm players took to the oval as part of a fundraiser for Ringarooma swimming pool, watched on by a crowd of delighted residents glad to see football and netball return to the grounds.
Organiser Karmen Davis said that while the crowd numbers weren’t as strong as hoped for, players enjoyed the chance to play some competitive sport – and those who did turn out in support hoped to see the match become an annual event.
Funds raised for the swimming pool totalled $1200.
“It was a great family day out and we would like to thank everyone who came out and showed support,” she said.
