The Lalla vineyard is hosting its annual Long Table Lunch on April 2 that will see food prepared by Brisbane Street Bistro’s Terry Fidler paired with several vintage wines from the label.
Leaning Vineyard owner Sarah Hirst said it was about enjoying fresh Tasmanian produce and educating people about some of the wines they have on offer.
The Long Table Lunch will have an autumn theme and will feature shared plates.
“It’s all about having fun and a bit of indulgence, to be prepared to try different food and different wines,” Ms Hirst said.
Mr Fidler said his approach to food was about real, wholesome food that “wasn’t too fancy.”
The Leaning Church Vineyard Long Table Lunch will be held on April 2 at the vineyard’s cellar door from noon. Tickets are $130 and that includes all food and wine. To book tickets contact the vineyard on 6395 4447. Buses are available separately from Prestige Bus Tours.
