Jason Redpath has been in superfast form winning the South Pacific and the state sprintcar title this month with Mark House, Callum Zizek and Kurt Luttrell looking to take up the challenge.
Adam Alexander had his first feature win at Hobart a short while ago and is eager to replicate the feat, while last weekend young Nick Penno sat on pole position for the state title and will be a serious threat.
A strong 18-car field will fight it out in the street stocks with Ben Riley, Matt Hammond and Corey Bauld all in fine form and will no doubt be pushed by Brayden Silva and Nick Anderson.
Formula 500’s return and the last meeting produced a new up and coming driver in Jock Goodyer.
He will come up against a strong field including Rick Weatherill, Cody Dransfield, James Amicosante and Kristian Kelly.
AMCA’s have a good field with Andrew Ryder and Justin Richardson eager to resume hostilities and Adrian Bassett, Craig Bagorski and Shane Ashlin keen to gate crash their party.
The bombers have a big field of the heavy-hitting cars and will feature an “old timer’s race” for former competitors including Chris Harwood, Noel Russell and Phil Krause.
The young stars of the future will be racing hard in the junior division with Jakobe Jetson and Ellis Dickenson are expected to be on the pace at the front of the strong field.
Drivers to keep an eye out on are Jayden Triffet, Paige Allison and Cody Gay, who do well on this track.
The meeting will start at 4pm with more than 30 karts taking to the track in three different categories.
The main track will commence at 6pm and end when the last car is still running after the actioned-packed demolition derby.
