Emergency services have cut a person from the wreckage of a car after a crash on the Bass Highway.
The crash happened at the intersection of Gilbert Street and the Bass Highway on Tuesday afternoon.
Traffic is being diverted around the site of the crash and debris is scattered around the area.
Two ambulances were at the scene and it seems at least one person has been taken to hospital.
EARLIER: Police and emergency services are on the scene of a crash on the Bass Highway near Latrobe.
The highway is currently blocked in both directions.
Eastbound traffic is being diverted at the Latrobe roundabout.
Westbound traffic is being diverted at Gilbert Street.
