The tenders were for construction of new general learning areas, support space and amenities at Somerset Primary School, construction of two new general learning areas at Trevallyn Primary School and construction of two new general learning areas at Deloraine Primary School.
“These projects are part of … [a] commitment to ensure students have access to contemporary and flexible facilities,” Education Minister Jeremy Rockliff said.
Mr Rockliff said $110 million was invested over four years to upgrade facilities at schools around Tasmania.
“Tasmanian schools across the state will benefit from construction projects advertised for tender providing capital investment upgrades to students’ learning environments, all the while driving economic growth and creating jobs,” he said.
