Sheep Connect Tasmania has organised a host of workshops for farmers in the next month.

The RAMping up repro workshops help improve the value of rams through discussions on optimum health, ram performance, best practice ram management and the true cost of a ram.

These workshops are at Blackwood Creek, Ross and Bothwell on March 21, 22 and 23, respectively, and are run in partnership with Zoetis and Nilon Farm Health.

Paul Macphail from Beloka Kelpies is running a two-day sheep dog training course covering yard work, paddock work, obedience and control at Lewisham on March 25 and 26.

Sheep classer Stuart Hodgson is delivering a sheep classing and selection workshop at Beaufront, Ross, on April 21.

This workshop covers classing Merino sheep followed by hands-on classing of 200 Merino ewes.
