South Launceston is set to receive a boost in funding to help champion women’s cricket, after being awarded a cricket club sponsorship.

Members of the club will establish a two-year partnership with CommBank, which includes financial funding, as well as much needed cricket gear and merchandise.
In its third year, the program provides clubs with two years of funding worth $2000 each year, along with new equipment for training and matches.
