Police are advising the public not to be alarmed if they see an increased police presence in the area or hear simulated gun fire.
Senior Constable Kriss Lawler said the exercise provides an excellent opportunity for emergency service workers to practice and refine their response to emergencies, in a safe environment.
“On behalf of everyone involved, we thank the public for their cooperation and understanding while we conduct this necessary training exercise,” she said.
Officers will conduct the drills from 10am to 1pm on March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.
