The Demons defeated Clarence in Saturday’s CTPL grand final with an eight-wicket victory.
Clarence made 7-99 after winning the toss and batting.
Captain Emma Thompson top scored with 25 opening the innings, Olivia McDonald made 16 and Erin Fazackerley 15.
North Hobart captain Belinda Page was the main wicket-taker for the Demons picking up 3-18 off four overs and Kirsten Allen took 2-10, off four.
North Hobart was in early trouble at 2-2 in their run chase but the experience of Veronica Pyke came to the rescue with the former Tassie Roar player top scoring with 64 not out and Hannah Short finishing on 26 not out as they chased down the runs in 13.4 overs. North Hobart defeated South by one wicket in last year’s state final.
