Mic Lockyer wins bums on seats round seven

A field of 22 starters produced one of the most popular winners in bums on seats history as Mic Lockyer returned from some serious health issues to win from Patrick Cruse, which puts them joint leaders in the men’s series. Cynthia Matson was third outright from Jen Booth, with the pair separated by three points at the top of the ladies’ series. Dianne Ottaway was fifth, followed by Riley McGovern. Hamish McKenzie was the first male junior and Eleanor March the first female junior.
