There’s a crucial job being performed by a team of experts based right here in northern Tasmania that is highly regarded and utilised Australia-wide.
ATS Laboratories is Tasmanian owned and operated and is committed to quickly and safely handling any asbestos concerns Australia-wide.
ATS director Rodney O'Donnell said that companies that require their work site investigated for asbestos in soils, air quality monitoring or a work site that requires compliance to Safe Work Australia and WorkSafe Tasmania, can make ATS Laboratories their first port of call.
“Often suspicious material requires analysis to determine if it contains asbestos, and ATS offers fast turnaround with high quality standards,” he said.
With a team of three analysts and a quality control manager with more than 60 years’ combined experience in the asbestos industry, it’s a highly-qualified team that handles all the scientific analysis and reporting that is required prior to and during asbestos removal.
ATS services include:
Inspections and Audits

It is able to provide easily legible, highly advanced and accurate reports. This produces a comprehensive management tool for business owners who are then able to make financial decisions and plan for control measures in advance.
