The statewide T20 semi-final will start at 3.30pm with the winner progressing to the grand final against Newtown at Bellerive Oval on February 26.
“The boys are pretty excited about the prospect of getting to defend our state T20 title but Burnie are a good all round side,” Riverside captain Alex Saunders said.
“Burnie do play their home ground very well but we had a big win against them up there last year in the one day semi final so we know we can beat them if we play well.
“They key is to play ground dimensions well.
“The side will be unchanged from the last few rounds and the majority of those guys played in last year’s premiership.”
Riverside defeated Launceston and Longford in preliminary rounds while Burnie defeated Devonport and Riana.
Newtown defeated Wellington in their semi-final to make it to the grand final.
