Raven Haven, a daughter of Cosmic Rumble and former distance champion Bell Haven, has already had plenty of hype having produced top efforts at both Devonport and Hobart so far in her five-start career.
Trained by Ted Medhurst, Raven Haven (box 5) will be the second favourite behind the Gary Fahey-trained Ozzi Oscar who has drawn box one.
Can Bee, a daughter of Fabregas and Miss Torah Bee from the in-form Rodney Ransley kennel, has shown plenty of class.
She won four consecutive races before finishing seventh to Manila Dawn in the Dennis Collis Memorial.
The graveyard draw of box 8 is the only query punters may have on Can Bee’s chances but her form suggests she will have the speed to cover the field early.
