The participants, in two main teams, have created a virtual reality game based around flying a World War I era plane, and also a miniature hydroelectric station.
To complete the projects participants have learnt a range of skills, including 3D printing, laser cutting, graphics and coding.
“I've learnt that it’s not only one contribution, you need everyone to be contributing to different parts of the project,” participant Jasper Wolfe said.
Bitlink managing director James Riggall said, “The essence of the program for us is this idea of coming in to solve a problem, or create an experience but then using a whole range of different skills to do that and learning the skills that you need.”
Mr Riggall said the collaboration between Bitlink, the QVMAG and Launceston College provides a uniquely engaging experience, and the program wouldn’t work without it.
