Artist Annette Fleming contributed her skills to the project, which was supported by the Northern Suburbs Community, the City of Launceston and Ivan Dean.
Together with pastor Joseph Choi and NSCC manager Denise Delphine, three generations of a Rocherlea family helped paint the ‘Dream Big’ mural.
Ebonie Perry and her mother Sharon Rubock both contributed to earlier versions of the mural in 2003, with Ebonie’s two daughters Holly and Lily helping out this week by painting some yellow flowers on the wall.
“The original [murals], I helped with all of them,” Ebonie said.
“Last time we got to put our names on it, and around the back we went and painted the wall white and I noticed my name was still there.”
Ms Delphine said the local community had joined in with more than 25 people painting on Tuesday.
