Tasmania Police is investigating after a second arson attack within 24 hours completely destroyed a Gagebrook home.

Fire crews were initially called to the Boronia Place address about 5am Wednesday where a blaze had been deliberately lit, causing about $25,000 damage.
While conducting patrols in the area overnight, police discovered the home had been set alight for a second time.
Tasmania Fire Service arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire, however the residence was completely destroyed with damages estimated at $140,000.
Nobody was home at the time of either fire and the house will be demolished.
