Featuring a quality field, the racing is bound to be intense and exciting.
Australian champion Callum Harper is the favourite on his home track, but was recently beaten by Adam Beechey in the Gary Devlin memorial.
A host of mainland stars have made the journey to attempt to conquer the strong Tasmanian contingent. These include Darren Anning and the super-fast Lachlan Onley from NSW.
Onley has been on the podium twice in Australian super sedan championships, and is a proven contender.
Lucas Roberts is always exciting, and will be joined by the hard-driving duo of Peter Nicola and triple-Australian Champion Mick Nicola, all of Victoria.
Ryan Harding, Michael Miller and Kym Jury are all from South Australia and have declared they have come to win.
A host of Tasmanian stars are up to the challenge, and it is great to see Devonport’s Brad Smith entered.
Smith recently blew his engine and the damage proved terminal.
Fortunately he has been able to secure another engine and even though his car is now sold, he will be competing.
Dave Nicholls has won this event before and wants to engrave his name on the trophy again.
Steve Latham, Jason McPherson and Wayne Dillon are all locals in with a strong chance across the two nights.
Friday night’s action also has street stocks racing with a massive field of 22 entries including the indestructible Todd Auton.
The program also features speedcars, junior sedans and karts.
The karts will start at 5pm and the main track action will start at 7pm.
On Saturday night, the karts will start from 4pm and once again has a big field of entries.
The main track action will begin at 6pm with a large field of juniors set for battle.
Jakobe Jetson, Ellis Dickenson and Joe Dickerson are all fast, but will be challenged by Paige Allison and Cody Gay.
The Formula 500 racing has been incredible this year with some amazing duels. It is great to see Taylor Johnson return after writing-off her car last time here.
Marcus Kelly, Nick Kingston, Ben Shadbolt are all in red-hot form and keen to take the win.
Modifieds always produce door-to-door action.
Matt Farrell recently dominated at this track while Trent Quillerat has dialled his new car in, and will be fast as will Josh Marston who has extra horsepower placing him on level terms with the leaders.
