The House of Representatives and Senate will have their first sittings on February 7 while Tasmanian Parliament will be the last of all states to return on March 7.
Despite the later start, the lower house will sit as many days as the Victorian Parliament at 51 days.
The Tasmanian Legislative Council will sit 56 days.
House of Representative members will sit the most days out of any parliamentarian at 69 days and senators will be required in the chamber 56 days of the year.
The government has budgeted $19.5 million this financial year to support ministers, parliamentary office holders, and House of Assembly members, and $6.6 million for the Legislative Council.
