The reigning premiers bruised the second-paced Chieftains on their home deck with a brutal batting display.
Hadspen elected to bat first and worked their way to 8-210 with Nathan Balym (53) and captain Liam Reynolds (49) leading the way.
Damian Woods and Andy Compagne also made 29 and 23, respectively, as both Brett Martin (3-33) and Kieran Davey (3-43) bowled well for Longford.
The Country Tigers were scoring at 12 runs an over early in their run chase with Shannon Rumbel (87) and Josh Adams (86 not out) cracking boundaries left, right and centre. Longford surpased the total needed in 25 overs with Matt Green Hadspen’s only wicket-taker.
Longford now sit atop the ladder by seven points.

The third-ranked Bluebacks were sent in and were soon dismissed for just 105 in 33.2 overs with Shaun Woods the main man with 26.

In reply, Tigers got the required runs in 21 overs four down with captain Luke Richards (24), Chris Plumbridge (25) and Zac Barwick (26) all contributing.
Sam Henly was Cressy’s best bowler with 2-47.
