In its third year at the festival, comedy director Stewart Bell said the tent has gone from strength to strength.
The partnership between the festival and Fresh Comedy was another way to showcase Tasmanian talent
“That’s really important to us,” Mr Bell said.
“Audiences here have been really great. Tassie audiences are great because they get comedy. Launceston is a very smart, comedy savy crowd.”
Mr Fleet said these opportunities can spark an interest in comedy for people.
“It’s great,” he said.
