Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm owner and developer Richard Sattler said players from Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane will touch down in the North East.
Polo provider Andrew Williams said Barnbougle had been hosting learn to play polo courses since December, in preparation for the January 21 match.
“There’s three games, it will sort of go up in tiers, C grade, B grade, A grade, the A grade will be all professionals, and just a real exhibition match of players and how they do it for a living,” Mr Williams said.
“The game is actually very similiar to AFL, once you start the game, there’s no offside, anyone can score, anyone can defend, you can run into people at any given time.”
