The women Hurricanes face back-to-back matches against Perth Scorchers amid a unique carnival weekend at North Sydney Oval with triple-headers on both days.
Coach Julia Price is again backing her side headlined by the English opener and the big-hitting West Indian.
“The girls have had a really good lead in with (captain) Heather and Hayley joining us in the last week for the Hurricanes camp,” Price said.
“We’re hoping to back up our performances...maybe even go a couple better.
“We have a slightly stronger batting line-up with the inclusion of keeper/batter Georgia Redmayne and a reliable bowling attack that performed so well last year.
“I’ve noticed a few sources already got us in the bottom two, which suits us just fine.”
