The Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment has charged a man in relation to the discovery of a fox carcass on the Frankford Highway near Exeter on October 30.

The man has been charged under Tasmania’s Animal Health Act 1995 which prohibits the importation of animals, restricted materials and infected animal materials without authorisation.
The man has been summonsed to appear in Launceston Magistrates Court early next year in relation to the charge.
