Throughout December and January the gallery will house the festival's Life Portraits exhibition, a collaboration between Meander Valley residents, organisations and graphic artist Valentina Ricci.
Deloraine House coordinator Narelle Whatley said the pieces were composed of an image and a line of text that participants felt best represented their identity.
“The theme of Senior’s Week this year was diversity so we wanted pictures that reflected the diversity of everyday people in the community,” Ms Whatley said.
“We recruited people living or working in the Meander Valley to tell their stories about their lives and from those stories we narrowed down some of the things that were poignant to them in their life story.
“(The images) also have lots of other little stories hidden in them that were part of that narrative process that only the participants are aware of.”
