The Rotary Club of Tamar Sunrise has led Carols by Candlelight for the past four years and is intent on making December 18’s instalment the best yet.
Carols chairman Danny Gibson said Tamar Sunrise Rotarians would join forces with more than 200 other volunteers to bring this year’s event to the masses.
“It's all voluntary which I think is a real highlight of our carols and most importantly it's a great way of bringing the community together at the end of the year,” Mr Gibson said.
“All the performers always really look forward to it and everyone who comes to the event knows that profits raised from them coming through the gate are donated to those who are doing it a little tough at Christmas by going to The Examiner's Empty Stocking Appeal.”
The carols will take place in Launceston City Park, with tickets available for $5 per adult and $3 per child.
Gates open at 5pm for a 7pm start.
