Headlined by The Saxons and The Sleepyheads, The Rugby Club concert exclusively features Launceston acts and will mark the first public performance for a number of acts on the bill.
The Saxons' Brad Martin said the concert would provide an ideal opportunity for young musicians and concertgoers alike to get a taste for the live music scene.
“You've got bands who are just starting out of college who are playing their first one or two shows and then you've got some bands who have been playing for a couple of years and are finding their feet, so there's some really good diversity in the lineup,” Martin said.
“The best thing is that it's all ages so younger people can come and watch their friends and you probably get a taste for what a gig actually is, compared to something that happens at school.”
Pale Feet, Cheersquad, Weak Need, Trent Buchanan, Lilyana Sanoe and Callan Griffiths are also on the bill.
The concert kicks off at 5pm, with tickets available at the door for $5.
