The super sedans drivers are all chasing current Australian Champion Callum Harper who lapped all but second place in the sedan final last weekend.
Adam Beechey was the only driver to finish on the lead lap and wants to take the fight up to Harper. Dave Nicholls, Steve Latham, Brad Smith and Corey Smith can match speed with Harper but have all lacked consistency on a long run.
AMCA’s have provided some great racing this season and Daniel Brooks will be looking to make amends after a big rollover ended his racing last time out at this track.
Brooks returned to form winning the Mark Triffett memorial a fortnight ago while Andrew Ryder has also been in top form and eager to go wheel to wheel this weekend. Craig Bagorski, Rodney Bassett and his son Adrian are keen to challenge for victory.
The street stock racing is always a crowd favourite with some amazing battles throughout the field.
Expect to see Corey Bauld, Ian McGuinness, Nick Anderson and Adrian Jones all charging hard at the front of the pack.
Tassie sixes have a good field of cars, and Drew Manswer is eager to continue his form after winning last weekend. He will come under pressure from team mate Dwayne Sonners, Peter Johnstone and Cameron Briggs.
Speedcars are one of Australia’s oldest classes and, although new to Tasmania, they continue to grow. Mitchell Freeman, Luke Redpath and Geoff Henri are all expected to do well.
The bombers have a big field nominated and this hard hitting brand of racing will ensure only a handful of cars finish the final.
A massive entry of 40 speedway karts will start the meeting at 4pm with racing in three classes.
Geoff Lawrence is the man to beat in the senior division, whilst Chase Redpath has been on form in the Juniors.
Racing on the main track starts at 6pm
