Vibestown is hosting Royal Eve at the park, boasting fireworks, quality Tasmanian food and drink, picnic hampers for purchase, local live music, four kilometres of fairy light decorations, and a special place for kids to play.
Organisers Jesse Higgs and Ryan Limb said they have worked hard to listen to Launceston’s needs for this year’s event, making sure families are fully accommodated with an interactive kid’s area and a 9pm fireworks display as well as the midnight fireworks.
Mr Limb said that the VIP area will be ideally situated to give attendees the best view of the stage, the river and the fireworks.
Attendees can bring chairs and blankets or enjoy the seating provided.
“We’re really looking forward to the music and … with the fireworks and the food it should be a great New Year’s Eve,” Mr Higgs said.
Gates will open at 2pm: tickets are available at royaleve.com.au or at the visitors’ centre and Shots on Wax.
