AMR released their annual report into more than 40 of Australia’s largest and most recognisable charities. The RFDS scored 96.9 out of a possible 100. AMR’s managing director said the RFDS continued to top the index because of their authenticity and sincere message and service.
“(It) resonates with Australian’s and helps the high level of trust felt towards them,” he said.
In a first time occurrence, the RFDS ranked first across all of the individual measurements, including service, innovation, citizenship, governance, leadership and cost management.
RFDS chief executive officer John Kirwan said winning six years in a row is unprecedented.
“It recognises all the hard work of our volunteers, staff and services we provide, we’re rightfully very proud,” he said.
