Launceston City siblings Alissia, Courtney and Jayden Pearson to coach at national indoor hockey tournament

Launceston City siblings Alissia, Courtney and Jayden Pearson will coach the Tasmanian teams at next year’s indoor hockey tournament in Wollongong.

Alissia takes charge of the under-15 girls team that includes clubmate Eliza Ballantyne, Tamar Churinga’s Mia Clark and Amy Dawber, plus Caitlin French, of South Launceston.

Courtney’s under-18 women’s team includes Lauren Buchanan, of South Launceston, Hayley Vimpany, of Queechy Penguins, and Launceston City’s Kaylee Demarco, Lacey Denman and Jenny Retterer.

Jayden will coach an under-15 boys team featuring Declan Brown, of Queechy Penguins, and the Launceston City trio of Joshua Demarco, C-Jay Denman and Bailey Grace.

He will also take charge of the under-18 team including Jack Foley, of South Launceston, and Eugene Van Niekerk, of Tamar Churinga.

The tournaments will be played between January 17 and 25.
