A police spokesperson said Factorie Launceston at St John Street and a business on Elizabeth street were targeted.
“Factorie did have some property taken and the matter is being investigated,” the spokesperson said.
“The second was an attempt in Elizabeth Street but nothing stolen as entry wasn't gained.”
The break-in comes two days after an attempt was made at Invermay business Innerspace Wardrobes, and under a week after the Trevallyn Gourmet Bakery was robbed at gunpoint.
Innerspace Wardrobes owner Ken Saville said about $2000 worth of damage had been done to the store, but only a Paslode cordless framing nail gun and $20 cash was stolen.
“What did we do to deserve this, we’re just a business trying to have a go and this sort of thing is just frustrating,” he said.
To date an offender or offenders have not been identified for any of the crimes.
