Police are again issuing more than 20 seatbelt infringements notices in the North per week.
Tasmania Police’s Seatbelts Save Lives campaign was started last month to better educate the public on the importance of the device’s use.
The campaign successfully saw infringement figures drop below 20 per week for the first time two weeks ago.
But new statistics from Launceston police show 21 infringement notices were issued last week.
It brings the total number of infringement notices issued in the North to 370 this financial year.
