The Norwood school outlasted tournament rival New Town High, of Hobart, to set up a 53-44 victory in the State High School Championships at the Elphin Sports Centre on Sunday.
But Riverside High fell 47-39 to a slick St Brendan-Shaw College Devonport in the junior boys final.
Sacred Heart College Hobart earned a title for the south in the senior girls division, proving too strong for Wynyard High in a 52-42 win.
St Brendan-Shaw College earlier on Sunday made it two from two in the junior girls finals.
Launceston Church Grammar struggled to keep in touch with the Devonport school during a 46-35 loss.
The State High School Championships over the weekend was contested between 34 teams in Tasmania that played 74 games, which included 12 finals.
