The video, which was streamed live to Warne’s Facebook page, shows Warne, former Test opener Michael Slater and former English cricketer Kevin Pieterson not wearing seatbelts.
The video has had 115,000 views, been shared 211 times and received 1200 comments.
Many angry viewers commented on the trio not wearing seat belts.
Three minutes into the video the cricketers notice the comments, make jokes about not being buckled up, before quickly putting on their seatbelts.
Anyone who fails to wear a seatbelt in Tasmania faces a $300 fine and three demerit points.
On Monday, Fairfax Tasmania reported more than 3000 people across the state were charged for not wearing seatbelts in 2015-16.
Tasmania Police launched the Seatbelts Save Lives campaign in the hope of educating the public about the importance of seatbelt use.
Police will hold a press conference in Hobart at 2pm to discuss the matter.
