Police are searching for a man after two women were assaulted, and one was robbed, about 11pm on Thursday night.

A 59-year-old woman was walking back to her residence when she was thrown to the footpath by a man attempting to snatch her shoulder bag near Duke Street, Sandy Bay.
The woman managed to keep hold of her bag, but she sustained a minor injury to her right arm.
The offender ran off towards the Regent Street end of Duke Street.
A short time later, an 18-year-old female was waiting for a Metro bus on Churchill Avenue when a man assaulted her, knocked her to the ground and dragged her a short distance before making off with the woman’s back pack.
She sustained a cut under her left eye and facial scratches.
The male offender is described as being in his late 20s to early 30s and tall.
He was wearing a grey hooded top and blue jeans.
Tasmania Police believe the matters are linked and are seeking information regarding the attacks.
