Compiled by architectural consulting firm GHD, the plan is the result of numerous surveys of Perth residents and aims to cater for the population growth predicted to occur following the completion of the Perth bypass.
The plan includes several options for establishing a distinctive retail centre in Drummond and Talisker streets and analyses the suitability of Sheepwash Creek as an area of future residential growth.
Proposed streetscaping works along Main Road includes additional trees, cycling lanes and a paved pedestrian refuge splitting the southbound and northbound lanes.
