Launceston was on a high when Fryett bowled South captain Belinda Wegman on the first ball of the Knight’s innings but Caitlyn Webster (31no) and Courtney Webb (36) put on a solid partnership to help surpass Launceston’s score of 81 in the 13th over.
Mowbray claimed their first win. The Eagles made 8-109 with Dannii Hancock top scoring with 24 and held Riverside to 8-93, with opener Ianthe Boden making 43.
