As a Launcestonian, I fully appreciate the wonderful facilities the city and the hospital has to offer, it just needs to be spelt out.
I suggest the University Advancement Office make a 10-minute video of a magnificent graduation ceremony.
The splendid entry procession to thunderous organ music and use of the song “Gaudeamus Igitur” from the Student Prince at the conclusion as graduates disperse.
I feel such a video could be shown in schools and colleges, on television as well as interstate and overseas.
It could be made at almost no cost and I feel would attract more students to the University than multi-million dollar buildings.

IN A preview of his upcoming maiden appearance on the ABC's Offsiders, Christopher Pyne provided the following insights.
The Wallabies, despite their recent loss, were far superior to the All Blacks.
The grace and poise of Nick Kyrgios mark him as an outstanding ambassador for Australian sport and the elegance of the on-field language of our Test cricketers is unsurpassed.
His Melbourne Cup tips?
Turnbull on Abbott - a match made in heaven. Cash on Hanson - an outstanding each-way bet.
Roughies? Lambie on Sharia.
Roberts on Another Planet and senators Abetz on Bernadi - although the latter is too used to running the other way. Should be a great show.
Tony Newport, Hillwood.

WHAT a joke that the University of Tasmania wants to have the naming rights to York Park.
Should you not stick to what you receive tax payers money for, that is to provide academic training.
