The Launceston One Walk will raise awareness and funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. A relaxing two km walk will be followed by a barbecue, games and activities. It is free to enter and donations will be welcomed. Event coordinator Will Egan, who lives with type 1 diabetes, said the walk would be a “celebration of diabetes” and an opportunity to show diabetes wasn’t “limiting”.
