The project, which was expected to be finished in November, includes 26 accommodation units and a day spa facility.
The development began in May and the majority of the new accommodation buildings have been constructed with room fit-outs underway.
Over the next few weeks, board walks, spa installations, car parking and landscaping will be completed.
Rosevears Hotel owner and developer Allan Virieux said it had been a long time coming.
“It has been many years in the planning so it is great to see it coming to fruition,” he said.
“The accommodation is targeted to visitors to Tasmania wanting to take advantage of everything the Tamar Valley has to offer.
“Tourism is essential for economy and jobs in the Tamar region and it is important there is great accommodation and quality attractions.”
Room bookings are available from January 1.
